Slightly smaller Working area: 32"(X) x 33"(Y) x 3"(Z) Sold by Matterhackers, so I can get 3% back (~$60) to use towards 3D printer filament!!! :D It will be in constant use as it will be used for production work, specifically automotive parts. The machine will mostly be used for cutting aluminum (6061) 85% of the time, and possibly delrin, mild steel, 304 stainless steel, etc during other times. I began doing a bit of research and the ballscrew design has kind of persuaded me to wait for the Onefinity. I was ready to pull the trigger and place an order for the shapeoke 3 XXL when a random youtube video popped up for the Onefinity. I have read that belt slippage is, or can be, a slight problem with the machine when cutting metal, but Winston Moy's videos has made it seem as though this shouldn't really be an issue. I was pretty much set on the Shapeoko 3 XXL due to its ease of assembly compared to other machines, community support, and the fact that one of my favorite IG builders is also using the machine (quick shoutout to 3D Magic Mike). I'm new to the CNC world and need a bit of advice on choosing a machine.
